On Thursday, May 1, 2025, QFIU held a training workshop on “Ekhtar” platform, for a group of staff members from the Ministry of Justice.
The workshop which aimed to familiarize participants with the platform’s registration procedures and the process for submitting suspicious transaction reports (STRs), witnessed active engagement between QFIU staff and the Ministry of Justice participants and included practical training on how to register and submit reports; interactive discussions and inquiries regarding the platform usage, reports classification, and registration requirements; in addition to suggestions related to enhancing training programs for reporting entities.
QFIU expresses its appreciation to the Ministry of Justice for its cooperation and commitment to building the capacity of its staff in this field, affirming that this workshop represents an important step toward strengthening institutional readiness and compliance with the established regulatory procedures.
