Participation of the Financial Information Unit in the 1st Mutual Plenary of the FATF and the MENAFATF

A delegate of the National AML/CFT Committee participated in the mutual plenary between the FATF and the MENAFATF, held in the UAR from 15-19 February, 2010 AD. This meeting, which is the first of its kind between the FATF and the MENAFATF, was held for discussing the issues of mutual interest, the most important of which are the results of the mutual evaluation for some of the countries of the region and the ICRG. The hosting of this mutual meeting by the UAE ensures the concern of this State and the states of the region about supporting the international efforts for AML/CFT.
